Calls for Late Breaking Poster Abstracts is OPEN until June 9, 2023!
LATE BREAKING POSTER ABSTRACTS are being accepted for the 20th International Conference scheduled for September 14-16, 2023. The submission deadline is midnight Pacific Time, June 9, 2023. The conference theme is, “Integrative Oncology as Standard of Care: The Time is Now.”
Abstracts for poster presentations that represent the broad spectrum of integrative cancer research (basic, clinical, health care utilization, cost-effectiveness, program and best practice guideline development) and clinical care are welcome. In keeping with the conference theme, individuals submitting abstracts are encouraged to consider the person-centered care factors of their work and its relevance to integrative cancer care.
Poster Presentations will be allotted time during customary breaks (Sample Poster Abstract - same as abstract sample). Study protocols and work in progress submissions will be considered for poster presentations.
SIO has the right to review and select abstracts, posters and workshops at its discretion for presentation and Best of SIO.

The SIO Scientific Review Committee is currently reviewing submissions. Notifications will be emailed out by mid-April. We appreciate your patience. If you have specific questions, please contact Erika Freundel.

SIO is only accepting submissions for in-person presentations for the 20th International Conference.

Posters will be allotted one side of a two-sided poster board. Format can be landscape or portrait and no larger than 40 x 60 inches (100 CM X 150 CM). Velcro and/or pins will be provided. It is also recommended that you bring extra copies of your illustrations or a sign-up sheet for people to request copies of your information. The format of the poster should cover the same information as laid out in the abstract – there should be sections entitled: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion.

Yes, you must register and make your own hotel reservation. SIO has a limited number of scholarships available.
